Museum Store Cards

Some of the greeting cards created for Nassau County Museum of Art’s Museum Store.

Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn, New York asked me to create greeting cards for their upcoming “That 80s Show. Some of the artists selected for their show inspired my cards: Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat,  April Gornik as well as graffiti and abstract artists from the 1980s.  Pen and ink, paper collage, oils and playing a little in the digital world helped create my own “That 80s Show.”   Exhibit is on from  March – July 2019.

“Wild Kingdom” show ran from October 2018 – February 2019 . Their show influenced my choice of pig, cows, cat, dog, bunnies and birds. Watercolor, pen and ink, colored pencils, pastels, paper collage, photography and playing a little in the digital world helped create my own “Wild Kingdom.”

Their “True Colors” show featured seven of the Peaceful Revolution greeting cards and ran from June – October 2018.
